Charities and sponsorship

Our aim as an ethical & responsible business includes helping our local community, by supporting local charities and organisations wherever possible

For example, we donate our customers’ healthy but unwanted plants to Camp Mohawk, a charity for disabled children near Twyford, so that they can improve their sensory garden and woodland areas, creating lots of colour and fun for the children to enjoy.  We also sponsor an evening at Henley Living Advent in December with the proceeds going to varying Henley Charities – Camp Mohawk in 2018 and Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice in 2019.

We have also donated prizes to raffles to raise money for other schools and charities, such as Harwell School, National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society in Maidenhead and Seesaw charity for bereaved children in Oxford.

In addition, our very own Alan is participating in an off-road motorcycle rally in Southern Europe in aid of ‘Daisy’s Dream’ children’s bereavement counselling charity, so we will be sponsoring him and following his progress closely
